What this course is NOT about (please read carefully): This is NOT a trading course. Trading involves the extensive use of technical analysis – the strategy of consistently buying and selling stocks and/or other types of securities (i.e.: penny stocks, ‘Forex’) based on patterns and trends within stock charts. Traders buy and sell within very short periods of time with the objective of making a quick profit. If you are interested in trading and high risk speculative strategies, please note that this course does not cover those topics.
What the Course is about/who is For: The course is deeply based on fundamental analysis and value investing. We teach you what you need to know in order to identify great companies and how to actually become a “part-owner” of amazing businesses that can help you create wealth over time. We teach you how to think “long term” and how to use that for your advantage. Investors understand that money allocated to stocks is money that won’t be needed in the short term – for at least 3-5 years or longer. **Money designated for investing should be separate from your emergency fund or money needed for any short term or immediate expenses.
